Study Closely These Selected Samples...
They All Have Personality





E ven when the project and the audience targeted demands serious, hard-hitting and straightforward copy... the copy I write will still have tons of character and personality.

      Now, rather than show you the "finished" product (after a graphic designer has added their input), what you'll mostly see here are copies of the actual MS Word documents I sent to the client...and this is exactly how you'll receive my "copy" for any project I complete for you.

      The formatting, layout and fonts, I always provide as a context within which to read the copy.

      (Oh...they're pdf docs, so the first one will typically load rather slowly...afterwards, the others will quickly pop open.)

Agora:
      A print ad for a new multi-vitamin and herbal supplement developed specifically "Just For Teachers" in the K-8 classroom.

HighBeam:
      This online text ad drives advertiser traffic to Highbeam's Web site, where advertisers have the ability to place ads in front of 34 distinct market segments that HighBeam services.

Home Show Daily:
      A full-page newspaper ad for a home show exhibit promoter.

NutraOrigin:
      Here's a print ad for a nutraceutical company promoting a suite of vitamin and mineral supplements designed specifically for the working woman and mother.

Vendare:
      Here's an online text ad that drives marketer/advertiser traffic to Vendare's Web site by hinting at their numerous online marketing solutions.

Will Rogers Polo:
      Will Rogers Polo Club requested an ad promoting their polo facilities as a premier venue for hosting events and special occasions; a preferred alternative to the tried and tired hotel ballroom.


Brochures & Postcards


Air Scent:
      A business-to-business (B2B) tri-fold brochure introducing a new air freshener dispenser and various refills for the commercial marketplace, i.e., schools, hospitals, factories, restaurants, etc.

Family First:
      A tri-fold marketing brochure written for a Certified Financial Planner who works primarily with middle-income individuals and families.

Home Show Daily:
      An oversize postcard promoting a home show exhibitor.

Health Forever:
      A brochure introducing a new herbal dietary supplement to the American and European health food markets.

Kate Somerville:
      Selected brochure copy for the well known Los Angeles-based cosmetic company, Kate Sommerville.

Mortgage Masters:
      A marketing brochure written for a mid-sized correspondent mortgage lending company.

Previs:
      Here's a simple "capabilities" pamphlet written for a "pre-employment background check" company; providing brief and concise descriptions of the various background checks they provide.

Varian:
      This tri-fold marketing brochure was written for a Web designer and developer who services small and mid-size businesses.

Whitehall Management:
      Here are four brochure inserts written for a niche marketing company, working primarily with dentists and chiropractors.

AmeriMark:
      Here are three copy blocks for two of AmeriMark's catalogs: "The Feel Good Store" and "Time for Me". The copy sells three products: a skin moisturizer and wrinkle remover from France, an athletic ankle brace, and an orthotic shoe insert.

Agora:
      Here are two subscription acquisition salesletters written for the Agora subsidiary, Taipan Publishing Group, a financial newsletter publisher.

      In this online sales letter, written for a Japan based life-coach, I was asked to use a decidedly soft and gentle "hand-holding" approach.

      An online sales letter for a "Lucid Dream" sleep induction mask.

Elite Stock Report:
      A sponsored ad promo written for an investor relations company.

Haband:
      This sales letter was written for mail order giant, Haband, promoting their Guayabera "Mexican Wedding Shirt," and targeting men 65 years and older.

ETR:
      A subscriber acquisition sales letter for the Agora subsidiary, ETR, promoting a financial newsletter: Income.

KCI:
      A subscriber acquisition promo for one of KCI's investment newsletters: The Energy Strategist.

Lombardi Publishing:
      A sales letter promoting the Canadian publishing giant's latest book: New Breakthroughs in Natural Pain Healing.

NewsMax:
      A 20-page direct mail subscriber acquisition promotion for the Blaylock Wellness Report, an alternative health newsletter, published by NewsMax, Inc. And at last report, their current control.

Real Estate Solutions:
      Another direct marketing package created for CDMG. This one promotes a company that buys residential properties about to enter, or are already in, foreclosure.

RightSide Advisors:
      Another investment newsletter subscriber acquisition sales letter. And another control. This one for RightSide Advisor's Insider Moves trading advisory.

Schanel:
      These two letters are from a direct mail campaign for a CPA firm targeting doctors who were previously mailed a letter of recommendation from a colleague.

Weiss Group:
      A sales letter promoting a 3 DVD offer - the filmed highlights of Weiss Group's presentation at the Las Vegas Money Show.

Zacks.com:
      A subscriber acquisition letter for the highly regarded independent investment research company.


Email Campaigns


Fabric Store:
      A series of three emails for a Los Angeles based wholesaler of linen and cotton fabrics for the home and the wardrobe. This email campaign brought in over $55,000 for the client.

HouseValues:
      Here's one email and landing page (taken from a series) for the well-known real estate company, and which outperformed their control by over 200%.

Peter Deutsch:
      This is an email campaign I was asked to write for a US Senate candidate.

Home Show Daily:
      a 30-second TV script for a home show promoter.

Marketing Architects:
      Three 60-second radio scripts for a Marketing Architects client, a company that sells residential real estate foreclosure lists nationwide.

Reverse Mortgages:
      Two 90-second radio spots advertising Reverse Mortgages and offering a free information packet.

      Here are four landing pages created for a computer software developer.
